Important Reminders
Any text added in the H5P Question form field by content authors is part of the information announced by screen reading software. However, H5P allows content authors to include content and formatting that screen reading software is not able to announce as part of the accessible label for the question. H5P does not provide an option to include a separate question label (such as a correctly structured heading) or separate instructions for questions.
Use best practices for content authoring, including:
- If more than one question is used on a page, add unique labels for questions on the page outside of the H5P content
- Add instructions for questions on the page outside of the H5P content.
Visible Indication of Focus
The answer options, the Check button, and other buttons have a visible indication of focus.
Color Contrast
The visible indication of focus does not have good contrast. The visible indication of focus for the answer options and activity buttons is not good. Users who require a visible indication of focus with more contrast may use assistive technology. The answer option buttons do not have good color contrast, but the answer option text has good color contrast.
