Important Reminders
Content authors should review the specific usability level and content authoring requirements of an H5P activity before including that type of H5P activity in the quiz activity. The activity may be more usable if:
- H5P activities added to the quiz activity support including a heading at the beginning of each H5P activity;
- begin each activity with a correctly structured heading level 2;
- best practices for content authoring are used for each H5P activity added to the quiz activity, such as ensuring good color contrast and including alt-text descriptions for meaningful images.
Visible Indication of Focus
The activity buttons and answer options have a visible indication of focus.
Color Contrast
The quality of the color contrast depends on the type of H5P activity added to the quiz activity. Users who require a visible indication of focus with more contrast may use assistive technology. The color contrast of meaningful visual elements and text with backgrounds must be ensured manually by the content author. Users who require good color contrast may require an alternative version of the activity.
Keyboard Usability
The activity is usable with the keyboard.
No Keyboard Traps
There are no keyboard traps.
Magnification
The usability with magnification up to 200% or up to 400% depends on the content added to the quiz activity. An alternative version of quiz content may need to be included that supports magnification up to 200% and up to 400% without requiring horizontal scrolling to view content and interact with content.
Usability with Screen Reading Software
The usability of the quiz activity with screen reading software depends on the H5P activity added to the quiz activity.
