Important Reminders

Before each H5P activity added to the Column Content in the column activity, include a Text Content container with a correctly structured heading that describes the activity that follows and that provides users with instructions for navigating the activity, including the type of question.  Content authors should review the specific usability level and content authoring requirements of an H5P activity before including that type of H5P activity in the column activity.

Options for H5P activities that may be usable within the column activity include Fill in the Blanks, True or False, and Multiple Choice.

The activity may be more usable if:

  • At the beginning of the column activity, users are provided with instructions describing the number and type of activities in the column activity
  • H5P activities added to the column activity support including a heading at the beginning of each H5P activity
  • Best practices for content authoring are used for each H5P activity added to the column activity, such as ensuring good color contrast and including alt-text descriptions for meaningful images.
